The Phillips Collection

is an exceptional collection of modern and contemporary art in a dynamic environment for collaboration, innovation, engagement with the world, scholarship, and new forms of public participation.

Students will go on guided tours of The Phillips Collection and explore a variety of topics that are customized to match curricular and thematic needs of their teacher. Exposure to a variety of artists including Renoir and Jacob Lawrence, these tours will give students confidence in their ability to understand and interpret connections between art and core subject areas such as Social Studies, Math, Science, English Language Arts, and more. Phillips School Programs Educators will work with teachers to provide a highly customized experience.
