Preserving your history means you are documenting the history of our city. Join us to learn how you can create your own Artist File through the DC Public Library’s The People’s Archive. \nExamples of what to prepare: \n\nExhibition postcards\nImages of work\, DVDs of performances\nArtist CVs\nBrochures and catalogs\nCorrespondence\nOther ephemera\n\nWhat is The People’s Archive? \nThe People’s Archive at DC Public Library is home to the dynamic collections that preserve and share the stories\, histories\, and voices of Washington\, D.C.’s diverse communities\, as well as the Black experience in the United States.
