Our program delves into key concepts in engineering, sound, and light, while simultaneously integrating advanced technological skills. Depending on the specific request of the teacher based on the sample curriculum shared in the previous email, students will engage in dynamic projects that seamlessly fuse artistic creativity with technical learning. Throughout these experiences, students will gain mastery of industry-standard tools such as Pro Tools, Logic, and Adobe Premiere. These immersive activities are designed to foster essential skills including teamwork, critical thinking, and a profound sense of ownership over their learning, all while building real-world digital literacy and job-readiness skills.

Grade level: 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th

Program Outline:

The primary objectives of this program are to:

– Build confidence in technology and software navigation.
– Learn and effectively apply the engineering design process.
– Develop problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication abilities.

Each session will generally follow this structure:

– 5 minutes: Warmup Engagement
– 30 minutes: Learn DIVEE (Design, Investigate, Visualize, Experiment, Evaluate)
– 20 minutes: Apply Engineering Design
– 5 minutes: Closing
