DC Collaborative is on a mission to provide equitable access to arts and humanities education experiences for all students.
We support this mission by connecting DC arts and humanities programs offered by our members and community partners to local public and public charter schools. DC Collaborative facilitates program outreach, school registration, transportation arrangements, and student/teacher assessments FREE OF COST to public schools. Our Program Catalogue houses our various categories of programming: Arts and Humanities for Every Student, Distance Learning Resource Database, and Professional Development. All programs listed in the Catalogue are offered during traditional school hours throughout the school year.

Programs
ARTS AND HUMANITIES FOR EVERY STUDENT (AHFES)
The Arts and Humanities For Every Student program is the cornerstone of DC Collaborative educational offerings. AHFES programs provide high quality learning experiences which could include interactive workshops, live streamed performances/programs, student matinees, visits to museums/estates, and assemblies. AHFES programs may also have supplementary materials for teachers that further enhance their classroom lessons and curriculum. These opportunities listed in our Program Catalogue are available to all DC Public Schools and DC Public Charter Schools.
DISTANCE LEARNING RESOURCE DATABASE (DLRD)
The Distance Learning Resource Database is an asynchronous virtual learning portal accessible to DC public school educators. Content includes asynchronous learning resources, pre-recorded programs, and other digital experiences. These opportunities listed in our Program Catalogue are available to all DC public and public charter schools.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (PD) OPPORTUNITIES
Professional development opportunities offered by our members are promoted through DC Collaborative’s Program Catalogue, and are intended for DC public and public charter school teachers. These opportunities can be listed at no cost. Professional Development opportunities are only promoted by DC Collaborative, registration and logistics must be coordinated by the Provider directly.
