Historical Detectives – Foodways of the Past

As historical detectives, students will analyze primary sources like historical objects, places, and documents to learn about food history at Tudor Place. Via a hands-on, group-based workshop, along with a tour of the Orchard and kitchen, students will discover how food was grown, bought, and sourced, learning about the people of the past and finding historical empathy and connections between that time period and today.
