Cartoon Creation as a Profession

This program is an interactive, one-time educational program that asks students to consider how cartoons are created from conception to storyboarding to full scale animation. Through in-person storytelling and the inclusion of the students’ ideas, we will together create a group of cartoon characters, their backstories, comics storyline, and short story animation. We will delve into how students can imagine a career in cartooning and animation, and the avenues of monetization.
