Becoming a Cartoon Artist

This interactive, one-time educational workshop asks students to consider how cartoons are made from conception to full-scale animation. Through in-person storytelling and the inclusion of students’ ideas, we will co-create a group of cartoon characters, their backstories, a comicbook storyline, and walk through the steps of short story animation. Most importantly, we will help students imagine cartooning as a potential job, and empower aspiring artists to follow their dreams.
