This program introduces students to storytelling through light, shadow, and layered depth. During a guided exploration, students examine how artists create dimension and mood using cutouts, perspective, and illumination. In the hands-on studio, they imagine scenes, sketch and cut layered designs, assemble a tunnel-book shadow box, and add lights to make their stories glow.
