Historical Detectives: Civil War Perspectives

Students will explore primary and secondary sources to learn about the Civil War from different perspectives of those who lived, worked and were enslaved at Tudor Place. Students will investigate WHO they see, HOW are they represented, and WHAT they can learn from architecture, objects, artifacts, photographs and historical documents. After students have applied analytical skills, students will consider how they would like to represent themselves by creating their own primary source.
