Swaliga STEAMtheBlock Party

On behalf of the Swaliga Foundation, we are honored to invite your school to join us for the STEAM the Block Party DC 2026, a citywide educational experience in Washington, DC. This event is free for all participating schools and students. This is a Day of STEAM learning designed to align with academic standards in STEAM.This citywide event will immerse your students in hands-on STEAM learning through interactive stations, live demonstrations, and performances.

Grade level: 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th
Maximum attendees: 110
Program Outline:

10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Welcome & Opening Ceremony
Activities: Welcome address, setup for the day, and initial host engagement by TBA

10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: STEAM Station Rotation (Session 1)
Activities: Students engage in hands-on learning at interactive stations. (Live Crowd Correspondent) roams the area, interviewing participants and artists while the production team captures content.

12:00 PM – 12:30 PM: Lunch Break
Activities: Students have lunch; performances continue on the stages.

12:30 PM – 1:30 PM: STEAM Station Rotation (Session 2)
Activities: Continued engagement with rotating workshops, drone demonstrations, and AI technology interactions.

1:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Wrap-up & Departure
Activities: Final performances, closing announcements, School of the Future Award presentation, and coordination of student departures/bus loading.
